Supplies
Easiest access to supplies is to pre-order your groceries from Woolworths or Coles in Ballina (both will deliver to Tourmalet Farm). For that annoying thing you forgot or just to have the authentic general store experience head to Tintenbar General Store - cnr Tintenbar Rd & George St (off Tamarind Drive). Well stocked with everyday essentials and a range of local produce and delicacies. Also includes fuel, post office, coffee cart and the all important liquor store.

Local Beaches
The Byron area is home to some of the best beaches you will find anywhere. The closest beaches to Tourmalet Farm are Broken Head and Tallows Beach. Access is via Newrybar and Broken Head Rd. Head north on Hinterland Way, take first right onto Broken Head Rd (turns into Midgen Flat Rd), turn left onto Broken Head Rd at T intersection, take first right to Broken Head Beach or continue on and then right at Clifford Street to access Tallows Beach which is less busy in summer. If you don't mind taking your time keep heading North to Byron Bay where you will find Main, Wategoes, Clarkes, The Pass, Belongil and more.

Killen Falls
Pristine Waterfall with large swimming area. Located off Friday Hut Road (~15km / 15 minute drive) - Head towards Newrybar on Fernleigh Rd, turn right onto Friday Hut Rd then left into Killen Falls Drive. Falls are about a 5 min walk from car park. Entry into the water can be tricky due to rocks and boulders. If you're not too sure on your feet take some runners you don't mind getting wet.
