RATES

All rates quoted on this site are subject to availability. All rates are exclusive of GST and quoted in Australian dollars. By using the rates quoted on this site you agree with and abide by these Terms and Conditions. Rates as quoted are per room per night on a room only basis, unless specified. Rates may increase without notice due to any changes in or the imposition of government charges taxes or levies. Guests will be notified where possible of any increases.

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT

Check in time is 2.00pm and check out is 10.00am. We will try wherever possible to accommodate early arrival and/or late departure.

DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT

Full payment is required 30 days prior to arrival, for short lead time bookings full payment is due on receipt of invoice. Tourmalet Farm will accept payment by Cash, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and Credit Card. Please note we accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards only. We do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards. If paying by EFT please arrange for funds to be in our account 30 days prior to the day of arrival. A valid credit card number is required for security on all bookings made, without exception. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total tariff is required for reservations over our peak periods including public Holidays, School Holidays (7 day minimum booking applies), Music Festivals, Easter. The remaining tariff is due 30 days prior to arrival. We will charge the credit card supplied for the balance outstanding.

INTERNET & PHONE CONNECTIONS

Tourmalet Farm provides guests with free wifi internet. The service is provided via satellite NBN which has limited capacity. Operation of any internet connection during this reservation is not guaranteed and may be disrupted or not available. 

BEHAVIOUR AND NOISE POLICY

We are located in a rural neighbourhood, with close neighbours (even though you cant see them they are there). Please respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum. Unreasonable noise will not be tolerated after 10.00pm. A charge of $200 will apply if management deem it necessary to ask guests to cease unreasonable noise after 10.00pm. Tourmalet Farm has a “No Party” policy, unless its an event that has been pre arranged and permitted by the owners. We reserve the right to request people who are making too much noise at any time of the day or night to leave. No refunds will be applicable. A security company or police may be called to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti-social behavior. Any charges incurred by the security company or police will be deducted from the Security Bond and/or charged to the credit card provided as security for the booking.

SECURITY BOND

A $500 bond is payable upon confirmation of all bookings.  Stays 7 days or longer may include additional charges. The security bond may be drawn upon in the circumstances listed below.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

We reserve the right to charge guests for the following, but not restricted to, all damages and breakages, lost keys, missing items, late departure, extra cleaning and unpaid expenses. Any additional charges will automatically be deducted from the Security Bond and/or charged to the credit card provided as security for the booking following at least one attempt to contact the credit card holder.

LOST KEY POLICY

Keys that are not returned will be charged to the credit card supplied.
A $25 charge will apply if keys are lost.

CLEANING

Guests are requested to leave the property essentially as you found it – we understand that it will become ‘lived in’ during your stay, however leaving it in a mess can and will incur additional charges. Beds, linen and furniture should NOT be moved from the room you find them in. This includes dirty dishes in the kitchen – there are two dishwashers for your use. We allow 3 hours for a clean after each stay, additional time spent cleaning will be charged at $75 + gst per hour.

SMOKING

No-smoking is NOT permitted inside the house.  If smoking outside please dispose of butts appropriately. Any traces of residual smoke inside will incur an additional cleaning charge of $200. Any additional costs of cleaning soft furnishings may be added as deemed necessary by the owners.

PETS

Pets may be allowed upon written request.  If permitted we ask that pets are kept outside at all times.

SCHOOLIES POLICY

Tourmalet Farm does not accept schoolies reservations.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel your booking 60 days or more prior to your scheduled arrival at Tourmalet Farm, there will be no charge except a $100 administration & marketing fee. If cancelled or modified within 60 days the full tariff will be charged. Where a deposit has been paid (over our peak periods) the deposit is non-refundable. 

EARLY DEPARTURE

No refunds will be given on early departure and any outstanding balance will be deducted from the credit card provided.

TRADING TERMS

We reserve the right to release any booking if payment terms are not met.

FORCE MAJEURE

We will not be in breach of this agreement, or any way liable to any party, if we are prevented from complying with this agreement by reason of act of God, act of public enemy, act of terrorism, war, earthquake, riot, explosion, fire, flood or other natural disaster, compliance with any law or government restraint order, rule regulations, strike, lockout or any other cause not reasonably within the control of Tourmalet Farm.

PRIVACY POLICY

Tourmalet Farm is subject to the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.
We will generally collect personal information about you directly from you when you deal with us over the telephone or by letter or e-mail. Normally, the type of personal information collected by us will include your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
We may use your personal information for some or all of the following purposes:

• To provide marketing information to you about our products and services

• To monitor the standard and quality of service we provide to your or other guests.

• If you do not wish to receive these communications from us, you may unsubscribe.If you choose to send email messages to us that contain confidential, private or personal information, you do so entirely at your own risk.

GOVERNING LAW

The Law of New South Wales governs your use and occupation of the property during this reservation. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New South Wales.
