Places to Eat
When heading to Byron from Tourmalet Farm, in peak times make sure you use Broken Bay Rd and approach from the south side as Ewingsdale Rd from the Freeway can get clogged with traffic.

It's well worth the effort as listed below are some of our favorites that await you when you get there (in no particular order). Not to mention the beaches.

Barrio (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner). Great lunch option. Industrial Estate doesn't sound that appealing but the area around Barrio is like an oasis, with some really cool shops in the same precinct. The slow cooked brisket burger and charcoal chicken are favorites.

Mezz Club (Cocktails and Dinner). Great Morrocon inspired decor with good tunes, cocktails and drinks, with super tasty middle eastern inspired menu, great place for drinks then dinner.

The Farm (Breakfast Lunch & Dinner).This place is an experience with live music in peak periods. Great for kids to have a wander and interact with the animals. Most,if not all of the produce is sourced from the property. Guaranteed freshness and menu is always an interesting mix with indigenous ingredients always on the menu.

Miss Margarita (Lunch & Dinner).Always great mexican food and drinks. Place does get really busy in the evenings so put your name down early and head across the road for a few drinks at the Beach Hotel (see below).

Cape Byron Distillery (Home of Brookies Gin) - Located at St Helena (just next to the tunnel), Brookies distillery offer a tour an tasting experience which is well worth a look. The friendly and knowledgeable staff will take you on a tour of the property explaining how the Brook family rehabilitated the land back to its native rainforest habitat and how they source their local ingredients and make their delicious gin and liqueurs.
